The "Kommersant. Firm's Secret" magazine has rated 100 “Best Russian cities." The first place went to Kaliningrad.
A total list of 150 cities with population more than 100,000 of participated in the ranking. The estimation was made on the basis of five indexes: social infrastructure, capital construction, production and entrepreneurship, human capital, and composite financial index.
Moscow and St. Petersburg were not participating in the rating, but if they were included in the summary table the Northern Venice would take the first place, and the Russian capital will gain the second.
